The writ petitioner claims to be a land loser and hence entitled to register her name in the National Employment Exchange under the Exempted Category. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the writ petitioner that a family member of the co-sharer of the land lost by the writ petitioner has been so listed as in the exempted category. The writ petitioner claims similar treatment in her case.

The petitioner has represented to the Director of Employment, West Bengal being the respondent No.4 herein inter alia on 15th June, 2018 for such registration but in vain. The writ petitioner also applied to the District Magistrate, North 24-Parganas in this regard. In that view of the matter, the respondent No.4, the Director of Employment, National Employment Exchange, Exempted Category Cell, Government of West Bengal, shall consider the writ petitioner's representation. He should carefully examine all records and, if necessary, require further records of the writ petitioner. A suitable order may be passed by the respondent No.4 and the same may be communicated to the writ petitioner within a week thereafter.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
