Petitioner is in custody for 258 days. He submits he is an Indian national. He prays for bail.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the bail prayer. We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner is a member of organised racket who prepared forged identity documents to facilitate entry of illegal migrants from Bangladesh.

In view of the nature of offence and probability of the petitioner in indulging in similar activity, if on bail, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
