No.29 C.R.M. 1156 of 2021 In Re: An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure filed on 25.01.2021 in connection with S.I.s S.L. No. 60/15-16 dated 16.03.2016 under Sections 18 (c)/8(b) of the NDPS Act.

And In the matter of : Somir Mandal ... Petitioner Mr. Kalidas Saha, Advocate ... for the petitioner Mr. Sudip Ghosh, Advocate Mr. Apurba Dutta, Advocate ... for the State There subsists an order dated October 20, 2020 passed in CRM 8068 of 2020 rejecting the application for anticipatory bail of the petitioner and directing a sum of Rs.10,000/- to be paid to the State Legal Services Authority within four weeks from date of such order. The order also directs that the Court will not entertain any petition with regard to the petitioner until the cost is deposited by the petitioner with the designated authority. The present petition was filed without complying with the order dated October 20, 2020.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner makes over the receipt issued by the State Legal Services Authority, Kolkata evidencing deposit a sum of Rs.10,000/- on September 3, 2021.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner does not wish to press the petition for anticipatory bail. State is represented.

In such circumstances, C.R.M. 1156 of 2021 is dismissed as not pressed.
