The police report is taken on record. It appears that on receipt of the complaint of the petitioner, an enquiry was made and prosecution under Section 107 of the Code of Criminal Procedure was submitted against the miscreants. The writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the Inspector-in-Charge, Contai Police Station to consider and dispose of the representation dated December 29, 2021 which had been filed by the petitioners. The police authorities shall act independently. The police authorities shall decide the entire issue accordingly. The fate of the representation shall also be informed to the petitioners. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.

If the police authorities find that registration of an FIR would not be required, reasons for such finding shall be disclosed in the order to be communicated to the petitioners. This order shall not be construed as an opinion of the Court or the expression of the Court on the allegations, which have been levelled against the respondent Nos.7 to 13. The petitioners are directed to serve a copy of the writ petition along with a server copy of this order, upon the Inspector-in-Charge, Contai Police Station.

The writ petition is, thus, disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
