Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is permitted to correct the description of the respondent No.2.
The grievance raised in the petition is that Baligeria Gram Panchayat/Nayagram Panchayat Samity had issued the work order for construction of canal and drains for different segments, but the construction has not been done till now.
Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that though no construction has been done but completion certificate has been issued.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has drawn the attention of this Court to the mass representation dated 17th November, 2021 (Annexure P-3), a copy of which was also submitted to the respondent No.2 (The District Magistrate, Jhargram).
WPA (P) 63 of 2022 Learned counsel for the State has fairly submitted that there is no objection in considering and taking appropriate action on the petitioner's representation. Hence, we dispose of the present petition directing the District Magistrate, Jhargram to consider the petitioner's representation submitted on 17th November, 2021 (Annexure P-3) and take an appropriate decision in accordance with law after conducting an enquiry on the allegation made in the representation, as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of 2 months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
The present petition is disposed of accordingly. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on usual undertaking.
