Both the writ petitions are taken up for consideration in presence of Kolkata Municipal Corporation represented by learned advocates. A report dated 22nd February, 2024 passed by the Assistant Registrar-VIII is perused.

Pursuant to the order dated 29th January, 2024, the writ petition being WPA 20003 of 2019 has been made available on record by the department.

In addition thereto, the two applications, one being CAN 5088 of 2019 and CAN 2 of 2021 are also

made available on record, which were filed in connection with WPA 1504 of 2019.

Mr. Banerjee, learned advocate representing Kolkata Municipal Corporation has filed a notice dated 7th February, 2024, wherefrom it appears that the learned advocate representing the petitioner has been informed. Notice dated 7th February, 2024 is taken on record.

At the time of call, no one appears for the petitioner and no accommodation is prayed for. Same situation prevailed on 29th January, 2024.

It appears that petitioner has lost interest. Accordingly, both the writ petitions and connected applications are dismissed.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

However, there will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
