Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the private respondent no.6 is interfering and disturbing with the peaceful possession of the petitioner. Petitioner claims to be the recorded owner, inspite of the same there has been interference. When the same was resisted by the petitioner at the behest of the private respondents he is threatened and is obstructed from entering the said property. To that effect information was furnished to the Officer-in-Charge, Sagarpara Police Station. However, no steps have been taken by the police authorities. On the other hand Mr. Ghosh, learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the police authorities have taken steps so that there is no breach of the peace and/or tranquility and also ensure that there should not be any dispossession without due process of law. Since the information which was furnished with the police authorities relate to 11th December, 2023 and

almost one and half years have passed, I am of the opinion that if the petitioner is faced with similar inconveniences he would inform the police station who would take steps in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 2486 of 2024 is disposed of.
