Mr. Lal Mohan Basu ... for the State Mr. Khan, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the Government policy that was challenged in this writ petition has been withdrawn. Accordingly, he does not wish to press this writ petition and also craves leave to file fresh application before the Government authority.

In view of the same, this writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file fresh application and upon such application is being made, the Government authority is directed to consider the same in accordance with law.
