Taltala Police Station has submitted a report in the form of instructions addressed to the State advocate dated 06.04.2022, which is taken on record. It appears that certain steps have been taken and notices under Section 91 of the Cr. P. C. have been issued to certain accused persons in Silicon Valley, West Coast, USA. It further appears that the statement of the complainant under Section 164 of the Cr. P. C. has been recorded. In that view of the matter, Taltala Police Station shall complete investigation as expeditiously as possible and submit a final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate within a period of one month from date.
The Investigating Officer shall consider as to whether Section 67A of the Information Technology Act, 2000 is applicable in the facts and circumstances of the case.
With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.
There shall be no order as to costs.
All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
