Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of informing the local police station relating to the incident which took place at the time of immersion of Durga Idol on 14.10.2024 no steps were taken by the police authorities.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that Sonarpur PS Case No. 1359/24 dated 14.10.2024 was registered and on conclusion of investigation, charge sheet has been submitted. Having considered that the petitioner's grievance has been addressed, I am of the opinion that further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted. Petitioner, if he has further grievance he would address the same before the jurisdictional Court.

Another writ petition was preferred being WPA 27892 of 2024 which was also disposed of by this Court.

Accordingly, WPA 2846 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report submitted be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.
