Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the incident arose out of property dispute. The police filed charge-sheet and, therefore, custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that, the co-accused was arrested. The victim named the petitioner as one of the assailants. He submits that, the injury suffered by the victim is grievous in nature.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 715 of 2022 is dismissed.
