It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that no narcotic substance was recovered from his possession.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits from the joint possession of the petitioner and co-accused, 5000 pieces of Yaba tablets containing methamphetamine were recovered.

We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner and co-accused were arrested from the same place. From their joint possession, 5000 pieces of Yaba tablets were recovered. In view of the aforesaid materials on record and statutory restrictions under Section 37 of the NDPS Act, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The application for bail is thus rejected.
