Petitioner was granted anticipatory bail and thereafter he surrendered before the Court and was also granted regular bail. Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was present in Court on 11 dates continuously and the case could not be committed not for the petitioner but for some other accused evading the process of law.

In view of the submissions so advanced, I direct the petitioner to surrender by 19th March, 2024 before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bongaon in connection with Gaighata Police Station case no. 213/2019.

In case the petitioner was earlier on bail the learned Magistrate will allow him to continue on the same bail and bonds subject to the condition that he shall be physically present on the next date so fixed i.e. on 14.08.2024 and all subsequent dates fixed by the learned ACJM, Bongaon.

With the aforesaid observations CRR 468 of 2024 is disposed of.
