Dr. Chapales Bandopadhyay Ms. Anandamoyee Dutta ... for the respondent no.5 This is an application under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondent authorities in processing his application for compassionate appointment. Counsel on behalf of the State submits that the documents in relation to the application made by the petitioner have been sent to the West Bengal Central School Service Commission.

Mr. Kanak Kiran Bandyopadhyay, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the Commission submits that direction may be given to the Commission to act expeditiously in this matter in accordance with law. Accordingly, I direct the Chairman, West Bengal Regional School Service Commission, being respondent

no.6 to pass a reasoned order and if the application is found in accordance with law to make the recommendation in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from date.

With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of.

Since no affidavit-in-opposition is called for, allegations made in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
