Mr. Jisan Iqubal Hossain ...For the Petitioners Ms. Anasuya Sinha Mr. Pinak Kumar Mitra ...For the State There are two police complaints with regard to the same incident. The petitioners claim that they were assaulted. There are three injured, insofar as the present police complaint is concerned. One of the injured suffered grievous hurt. Such injured recorded a statement under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, implicating all the petitioners in the assault. It is claimed that the petitioners used iron rod and iron tools to assault the injured. Considering the nature of injury suffered by the injured and considering the gravity of the offence, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

CRM (A) 518 of 2023 is, thus, rejected.
