1. Heard the learned Counsels for the parties.

2. We have considered the materials on record. Over 1 kg of Heroin was recovered from the petitioner. Trial is in progress. In view of the aforesaid circumstance and statutory restrictions under Section 37 of the NDPS Act, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

3. The application for bail is, thus, rejected.

4. Trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
