The petitioner has assailed the order dated 30th May, 2022 passed by the learned Assistant Sessions Judge, Kalyani in connection with SC 36 of 2021 directing issuance of warrant against him. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was on bail and failed to appear before the learned trial Court on several dates for which warrant of arrest was issued against him by the order impugned. The petitioner undertakes to surrender before the learned trial Court within seven days from date. If the petitioner surrenders before the learned trial Court within seven days from date and files an application for bail, the learned trial Court shall deal with the same in accordance with law.

In the event the petitioner fails to surrender before the learned trial Court within the stipulated time frame, the learned trial Court shall be at liberty to take necessary steps against the petitioner in accordance with law without further reference to this Court.

Warrant of arrest issued against the petitioner vide order dated 30th May, 2022 be stayed till 21st March, 2025.

CRR 526 of 2025 is disposed of.
