Jamil Sk. @ Bateswar

Versus

The State of West Bengal Mr. Joydeep Roy Ms. Madhumita Basak.

...for the State.

I have taken into account the nature of the accusations and the fact that case has been very recently committed to the court of sessions. Petitioner is similarly placed as the other accused persons whose bail was rejected in CRM(R)22 of 2026. Having considered that the case has been very recently committed to the court of sessions, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail without substantial progress in the trial of the case, as such, CRM(M)365 of 2026 is dismissed. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
