Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 414 days. Since the police filed charge-sheet, further detention of the petitioner is not required.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and the age of the victim.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein and considering the statement of the victim as also her age, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner.

CRM (DB) 428 of 2022 is rejected.
