Mr. Bhattacharya, learned advocate appearing for the opposite party is present. The petitioner is also represented by his learned advocate.

The revisional application was preferred for quashing of Ballygunge G.R.P.S case no. 48 of 2016.

Having regard to the present stage of the case, there is no scope of interference by this Court.

The opposite party no. 2 would be at liberty to take appropriate steps before the jurisdictional court in accordance with the provisions of Section 173 (8) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, if so advised.

With the aforesaid observation, the revisional application being CRR 257 of 2017 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of. Interim order, if any, is hereby vacated.
