It is evident that the matter is appearing in the list since 06.09.2022 and was called on every day since thereafter, though none appeared ever. Hence, the same is taken up for disposal in absence of the parties.

The present revision case is filed challenging the order dated 12.11.2014 passed by the Addl. District Judge, 18th Court, Alipore, South 24-Parganas in Criminal Appeal No.27 of 2014. By dint of the same, the Court has disposed of the appeal challenging the order dated 27th December, 2013 passed by Judicial Magistrate, 8th Court at Alipore in C-Case No.1957 of 2013. Vide the impugned order the Additional District & Sessions Judge has allowed the appeal and set aside the order of the Magistrate. The petitioner against whom the O.P No.1 preferred an application under Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, being aggrieved by the impugned order has preferred the instant revision with the prayer for quashing of the same.

However, considering the attending facts and circumstances and the grounds of challenge, I do not find any merit in such prayer of the petitioners.

On the above, I do not find any merit in the revision application and the same is, accordingly, dismissed. In view of dismissal of the revision application, the application being CRAN 9 of 2017 (Old No. CRAN 5541 of 2017) is also dismissed.
