It appears that investigation is completed and charge sheet has been submitted. Some of the accused were arrested and subsequently released on bail. The petitioner submits that he shall file a narazi application against the charge sheet submitted by the police.

In the meantime, the police authority is directed to keep strict vigil in the area in order to avoid any untoward incident and ensure maintenance of peace and tranquility. The police shall render necessary assistance/protection to the petitioner as and when requested.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
