The appellant is not represented today.

It is recorded in an order dated 10th May, 2022 that an identical issue is pending adjudication before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India.

This Court has perused the impugned order which records that there is no scheme for compassionate employment in the Bhatpara Municipality.

4.

It is now well-settled by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India that in the absence of any Scheme, compassionate employment cannot be claimed as a matter of record.

5.

Be that as it may, M.A.T. No. 180 of 2020 shall stand dismissed for default.

6.

Interim order, if any, shall also stand vacated. 7.

In view of dismissal of the appeal itself, all the pending connected applications are dismissed. 8.

There will be no order as to costs.

9.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
