The petitioners seek consideration of their various representations which were filed before the District Magistrate, Birbhum for being engaged as cook in government schools.

The request made by the petitioners appears to have been addressed to the District Magistrate. The petitioners are granted leave to file their representation before the Block Development Officer by September 8, 2025 highlighting their grievances.

In the event such representation is filed, it shall be considered by the Block Development Officer, Nalhati-I in accordance with law, within eight weeks from the date of filing of the representation, after hearing all the necessary parties.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Exception filed by the petitioners to the report filed by the State be taken on record.
