The petitioner is a home guard.

He was demobilized by the SP, Jhargram for possessing certain seditious material. The petitioner was arrested and detained. He confessed to the possession of such material.

In these circumstances, the impugned order dated 12th January, 2024 and the order of demobilization dated 18th March, 2023 calls for no interference.

Hence, the writ petition fails and hereby dismissed.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
