Petitioner Mr. Pankaj Halder Mr. Subhojit Ghosh Ms. Sougata Choudhury ...for the Petitioners Since the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of C.S.No. 56329 of 2023 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 9th Court, Calcutta, the matter may be disposed of without service of notice upon the opposite party. The opposite party shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case. It appears that the warrant of arrest was issued against the accused/opposite party on July 27, 2023. The warrant was neither executed, nor did the opposite party surrender before the learned trial Court. By an order dated August 05, 2024, a report was called for with regard to the execution of the warrant of arrest.

Since then the case has not proceeded further. In view of the above, the learned trial Court is directed to take necessary steps for securing the attendance of the accused/opposite party before him and take the proceedings to its logical conclusion as expeditiously as possible, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

With the above observations and directions the instant revisional application being CRR No. 537 of 2025 is disposed of.
