1. Parents in-law of the victim seek anticipatory bail.

2. The victim died due to effect of unknown poisoning as appearing from the medical opinion obtained by the police.

3. Statement recorded under Section 180 of the BNSS, 2023 of neighbours implicate both the petitioners before us in torturing the victim both physically and mentally.

4. Death occurred within one year of marriage at the matrimonial home of the victim.

5. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioners therein, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

6. Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected.

7. CRM (A) 396 of 2025 is dismissed.
