It has been categorically provided that a fresh calculation was made and forwarded to the appropriate authorities.

The petitioner has already made a representation on December 20, 2021 before the Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance.

It is submitted on behalf of the State-respondent that the matter is under process.

Under such circumstances, with the expectation that the retired employee shall not be harassed further by the authorities by keeping the matter pending for a long period, this writ petition is disposed of directing the Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance to consider the representation of the petitioner dated December 20, 2021 and issue necessary order in accordance with law. The entire exercise should be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.

At the time of passing necessary order, if it is found that the petitioner is entitled to such benefit as stated above, such payment shall be released forthwith.

In case further clarifications are required from the petitioner, then the petitioner shall be notified of the same and thereafter, a reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioner, within the stipulated period of time. There shall be no order as to costs.

All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the learned advocate's communication.
