1. The petitioner says that the substance seized from him, was not narcotics as has been opined by the FSL.

2. Learned State counsel has shown us the seizure list. Various kinds of substances were recovered from the joint possession of two accused persons including this petitioner. Some of such substances tested negative for narcotics. But the bulk of such substances tested positive.

3. In view of commercial quantity of narcotics being involved, we are not inclined to entertain the petitioner's prayer for bail.

4. We further notice that a co-ordinate Bench rejected the bail prayer of the co-accused person on November 27, 2024 in CRM (NDPS) 1530 of 2024. This petitioner appears to be similarly circumstanced as that person.

5. CRM (NDPS) 183 of 2025 is dismissed.

6. However, in view of the period of detention of the petitioner (he says that he is in custody for 1 year and 2 months), we request the learned Trial Court to conclude the trial as soon as possible.

7. Let this order be communicated by the parties to the learned Trial court.
