Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of directions passed by the learned Magistrate no action has been taken.

Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report. Report reflects that on 05.12.2024 on receipt of information Narendrapur PS Case No. 1512 of 2024 was registered for investigation and on completion of investigation prima facie charges were established against the private respondent nos. 5 to 12 and accordingly charge sheet was submitted before the jurisdictional court. Learned advocate thereafter submits that there has been threats which has raised

anxiety and a feeling of insecurity to the complainant and the witnesses of the case.

In view of the aforesaid, if the petitioner makes an application under the relevant provisions of the Witness Protection Scheme, 2018, learned Magistrate would assess regarding the threat perception of the petitioner and his witnesses and thereafter pass necessary directions upon the police authorities to take appropriate steps in accordance with law.

Police authorities are also directed to keep a strict vigil and ensure that no breach of the peace and/or tranquility takes place because of the inimical relationship existing between the parties.

Accordingly WPA 2842 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
