Khatian No.2187 and L.R. Dag No.35876 under L.R. Khatian No.2188, Mouza- Bally, J.L. No.14, DistrictHowrah. From the relevant record of rights as annexed to the writ petition it appears that the petitioner is a "Rayat" in respect of the said plots of land. The Municipality does not dispute the aforesaid status of the petitioner in respect of the relevant plots. Learned advocate appearing for the Municipality submits that the petitioner did not produce any title deed in support of its ownership. He also submits that arrear tax in respect of the said lands has not been paid.

The petitioner gives an undertaking before this court that it will clear the arrear tax within one month from date.

In view of the aforesaid, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon Bally Municipality to consider the mutation in favour of the petitioner in respect of the aforesaid lands within a period of two months from date of communication of this order subject to production of title deed and clearance of arrear tax within one month from date.

Accordingly, WPA 2614 of 2024 is disposed of.
