The writ petitioner is a nurse and is now posted at Shillong. The petitioner claims that she has been under short service commission for a substantially long period of time and has applied for permanent commission, inter alia, by representation dated 11th January, 2021.

Learned counsel appearing for the Union of India submits that the petitioner was afforded due opportunity earlier for permanent commission but did not fulfil the criteria nor applied therefor within time.

In these circumstances, since the petitioner has made formal representation dated 11th January, 2021, the respondent no.3 herein shall consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation within a period of three months from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
