It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners the victim died due to road traffic accident. Accordingly, they pray for anticipatory bail. 2.

We have considered the materials on record including the postmortem report. Post mortem report notes fracture on right sided 8th and 12th ribs, rupture of bladder and right side of lobe of liver. Post mortem doctor opined death was due to the abovenoted injuries ante mortem in nature. Though petitioners contend victim suffered injuries due to road traffic accident and relies on statements of two co-accused who were driving the motorcycle, statement of another accused shows victim was brutally assaulted and murdered. Petitioners had intention and motive to commit the crime. Circumstances in which the victim suffered serious and fatal injuries require custodial interrogation of the petitioners. In view of gravity of the offence and prima facie involvement of the petitioners therein, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to them.
