The writ petitioners claim to be senior citizen and seek eviction of their daughter-in-law from the house. The son works and stays at Holdia. Admittedly, on the private respondents' complaint, FIR was registered by the Thakurpukur Police Station and the charge sheet has been filed under Sections 498A/506/34 of the IPC against the petitioners and the son.
The daughter-in-law is housewife and has six years old daughter.
The Thakurpukur Police shall visit the place of residence and warn the daughter-in-law against any disturbing the petitioners. The petitioners likewise shall not disturb the daughter-in-law. The daughter-in-law may seek appropriate relief under the D. V. Act for right of residence in the house.
The writ petition is disposed of.
There will be no order as to costs.
