The petitioners complains that the private respondents have encroached upon some portions of the petitioners' land and have entered the same under the provisions of the West Bengal Acquisition of Homestead Land for Agricultural Laborers Act, 1975.

It is further submitted that egress and ingress has been obstructed to the petitioners' land by putting bamboo fence.

This Court is of the view that the disputes between the petitioners and the private respondents are purely civil in nature and the parties may take out civil proceedings in that regard.

The O.C., Dadpur P.S. has filed a report dated 24.01.2023.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
