The petitioner is aggrieved as despite clearing all the examinations for recruitment in CAPF, his name has been published in the list of withheld candidates. 2.

Learned counsel representing the respondents relies upon an instruction dated March 13, 2026 by the IGP WBS CRPF, Kolkata which mentions that request has been made by the CRPF authority to the Staff Selection Commission, New Delhi in February 2026 for revision of the result of the petitioner. 3.

The revised order by the Staff Selection Commission has not yet reached the CRPF authority. 4.

As it appears that the CRPF accepts that the petitioner has cleared all his examinations successfully and the authority has requested the Staff Selection Commission to revise the result of the petitioner, accordingly, the instant writ petition stands disposed of by directing the Staff Selection Commission to take immediate steps to revise the result of the petitioner

and verify as to whether there is any necessity to include the name of the petitioner in the list of withheld candidates.

If any error has cropped up in the process by enlisting the petitioner in the list of withheld candidates, the error shall immediately be rectified. 6.

Staff Selection Commission shall take steps in the matter at the earliest, but positively within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.

Instruction submitted by the learned advocate representing the respondents in Court today be retained with the records.

Parties to act on the basis of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
