It appears that the petitioner has been absconding for almost four years. We have also considered the statement of one Abdul Hannan recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure implicating the petitioner. Considering the nature and gravity of offence and also having regard to the fact that the petitioner evaded arrest for a considerable period of time, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The application for anticipatory bail is rejected. All parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
