The petitioners are members of the matrimonial family of the victim and submitted that the husband, brother-in-law and fatherin-law of the victim have been granted bail. Charge-sheet has been submitted.

The State has produced the case diary and opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

It appears that the petitioners are the members of the matrimonial family of the victim. Charge-sheet has been submitted. Detention of the petitioners is not required for the purpose of custodial interrogation. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail is allowed.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest the petitioner (i.e. Kamini Das & ors.) shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs. 10000/- with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438

(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
