Written instruction filed by the State-respondents is taken on record.

The petitioner is aggrieved by the demand notice issued to him by the Additional District Magistrate and District Land and Land Reforms Officer, Murshidabad on 31.12.2021 demanding payment of arrear lease rent to the tune of Rs.9,70,108/-.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that out of the said amount the petitioner has already deposited Rs.2.00 lakhs before the authority vide challan dated 20.01.2020. The petitioner is ready and willing to deposit the remaining amount before the concerned authority within one month from the date. In view of the same nothing further remains to be adjudicated in the present writ petition.

With the above observations and directions this writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be, however, no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties upon compliance of necessary formalities.
