...for the appellants The learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the appellants has fairly submitted that this appeal is not maintainable in view of the provisions under Section 21(1)a of the Bengal, Agra and Assam, Civil Court (West Bengal Amendment) Act, 2000. The Additional Stamp Reporter has also made a report regarding maintainable of the appeal before this Court. In view thereof, the appeal is dismissed for want of jurisdiction.

This order shall not prevent the appellants to take appropriate steps in accordance with law.

The department is directed to return the original certified copy of the decree to Mr. K.N. Jana, Advocate upon furnishing photostat copy of the same.
