The learned advocate representing the respondents/claimants submits to have filed an application being CAN 2 of 2024 for substitution of the legal heirs of respondent Nos. 1 and 2 since respondent No.3 had expired after the disposal of the instant appeal prior to the stage of disbursement of the compensation amount through the office of the learned Registrar General, High Court at Calcutta.

Since the respondent Nos. 1 and 2 had been on record, being legal heirs of the respondent No.3, the office of the learned Registrar General, High Court at Calcutta is

directed to disburse the share of the respondent No.3, since deceased, out of the compensation award in equal proportion to the respondent Nos. 1 and 2 within four weeks from the date of passing of this order. Accordingly, the application being CAN 2 of 2024 is disposed of.

Copy of the order be sent to the Department as well as office of the learned Registrar General, High Court at Calcutta for immediate compliance.
