None appears for the petitioner as also for the respondents.

The petitioner has not argued this matter since 2022. On February 22, 2022, he prayed for time to file affidavit of service. The petitioner remained absent on April 4, 2022. Then, on July 21, 2022, the Assistant Registrar VIII submitted a report intimating that no affidavit of service has been filed. The petitioner again remained absent on September 26, 2022 and on July 31, 2025.

It appears that the petitioner has lost interest in the matter or the cause does not survive 4.

Thus, the Public Interest Litigation is dismissed for want of prosecution. However, liberty is reserved to the affected parties to avail the remedy available under law.
