Report filed by the learned advocate for the respondents is taken on record.

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus commanding the respondent Nos. 2 and 3 to furnish information pertaining to certain landed property.

Upon going through the writ petition and hearing the learned advocates for the respective parties, it appears that the petitioner's request for information made under the Right to Information Act has been appropriately addressed up to the stage of the West Bengal Information Commission. It appears that by an order dated September 25, 2024, the West Bengal Information Commission has disposed of petitioner's complaint that had been filed subsequent to an order passed by the said Commission in second appeal

carried to such Commission by the petitioner, by observing as follows.

"4. In compliance with the order of the Commission on 11.05.2023, the SPIO had furnished all the relevant information to the appellant. The Commission had also noted that appellant was also given copies of LR records in spite of the same being available in public domain. Taking overall circumstances in view, the Commission had held that all requisite information sought by the appellant as available with the SPIO was already furnished to him and accordingly disposed of and closed the 2nd appeal case.

5. The present 2nd appeal and complaint case under consideration are on the same matter and on the same issue involving the same SPIOs. The earlier order passed by the Commission Dated 10.07.2023 appeals mutatis mutandis and there is no reason to further delve into these two cases, the subject matter of the same having already been disposed by the Commission comprehensively earlier as noted above, the same are accordingly disposed of and closed."

In view of the aforesaid, nothing further remains to be decided in this writ petition.

WPA 2864 of 2025 is, therefore, disposed of with the above observations.

The petitioner shall be free to seek such further information as the petitioner may desire, in accordance with law.
