Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was arrested on 16.04.2025 and since then he is in custody. Petitioner claims to be innocent and has been falsely implicated in the instant case and it has also been submitted that there are no eye-witness inspect of the accusations against the present petitioner.

Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and refers to the statement of the daughter of the victim as well as the seizure in respect of the CCTV footages.

Having considered the stage of the case and the fact that evidence is yet to commence. At this stage, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, CRM (M) 386 of 2026 is dismissed. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
