1. The affidavit of service filed today is taken on record.

2. In spite of service, none appears on behalf of the school authority.

3. The petitioner's application for transfer on medical ground was returned by the concerned District Inspector of Schools to the school authorities as the accompanying certificate of the Block Medical Officer of Health (BMOH) was not given.

4. Since a long period of time has elapsed since 2022, I direct the petitioner to make a fresh application with the school authorities, who shall immediately conduct a medical examination of the petitioner through the concerned BMOH and forward the same

to the concerned District Inspector of Schools for onward progression. The entire exercise by the school authorities will be completed by April 20, 2026.

5. The concerned District Inspector of Schools upon receipt of the No Objection from the school along with other requisite documents will expeditiously deal with the matter, preferably by six weeks from the date of receipt of the application.

6. The suspension of 'Utsashree Portal' will not be an impediment for the concerned authorities to consider the application for transfer of the petitioner. The same shall be considered in an offline mode.

7. With the afore-stated directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

8. There shall, however, be no order as to costs.

9. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis. (Reetobroto Kumar Mitra, J.)
