2. The petitioner is aggrieved by the cancellation of his bid at the technical evaluation stage in respect of tender which was conducted in the year 2023.

3. It appears the work order has already been issued in favour of the successful bidder and more than eighteen months have passed from the date of issuance of the same.

4. Learned advocate for the petitioner asserts that the cancellation of the petitioner's bid was illegal.

5. The Court is not inclined to enter into the merit of the case of the petitioner at such a belated stage. In the event the authority intends for an extension of the term of the present bidder, then the case of the petitioner may be considered along with the subsisting bidder provided the petitioner possesses the requisite eligibility criteria.

6. The writ petition stands disposed of.
