1. Affidavit-of-service be kept on record.

2. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner has made a representation in respect of a notification for appointment of a Fair Price Shop Dealer at Dakatpota, Narul Pally (Dakatpota Jame Masid), Bonkanda, RAigram under Barasat-II Block, Barasat Sub-Division, Dist- North 24Parganas on 30.12.2024 vide notification No. 777/SCF&S/BST/MR/F/2024.

3. The main grievance of the petitioner is that despite an application for appointment having been made against the said vacancy along with supportive documents and requisite fee, the State respondent remains silent in informing the fate of the hearing and in concluding the selection process by issuing the license for the Fair Price Shop as expeditiously as possible.

4. Despite the representation dated 18.11.2025 made before the authority concerned, the remains pending for consideration.

5. Having heard the parties, I am of the considered view that since the entire selection process has been concluded but the results are yet to be uploaded on the portal, I hereby direct the respondent no 4 to hold the decision of the entire selection process for the grant of license peremptorily within a period of 60 days.

6. The writ petitioner being WPA 3049 of 2026 is disposed of without going into the merits of the case.

7. Since no affidavits have been filed the allegations made in the writ petitions shall be deemed to have been denied and not admitted.
