Mr. Rana Mukherjee, Additional Public Prosecutor appears on behalf of the opposite party no.1/State.

It appears from the orders passed in the year 2007 that a settlement had been reached between the parties. Since the petitioner is not present in Court today, I am of the view that the petitioner is no longer interested in pursuing this lis. Accordingly, this criminal revisional application is dismissed for default.

The department shall communicate the order passed in Court today to the court below.

The department concerned shall ensure the acknowledgement of receipt of such communication. A report of compliance to be placed before this Court after two weeks.

The lower court is directed to expeditiously act in accordance with law.
