The petitioners claim that in a vested land, they along with the private respondents are already in possession. However, the police authorities are trying to evict them.

State has submitted a report which reflects that a long standing land dispute has been going on between the petitioners and the private respondents. In view of the apprehension expressed by the petitioners and that the police authorities have submitted a prayer before the BL&LRO, Sandeshkhali-II, if any direction is passed by the BL&LRO, Sandeshkhali-II, the police authorities would implement the same in accordance with law. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 2952 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
