And In the matter of : Gobinda Adak ...... petitioner Mr. Dipankar Guha ....for the petitioner Mr. Soumik Ganguli ....for the State Apparently, petitioner is claiming ownership in respect of land given in patta, in its entirety. There are other co-sharers who are entitled to the rights to the land.

Apparently, petitioner manipulated land records to favour him.

Consequently, role of the petitioner required investigation in such manipulation.

Granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner will be inimical to such investigation.

We are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. This application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. CRM(A) 422 of 2024 is disposed of.
